IMPORTANT SERVICE WARNING-READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR SERVICE:
Standard WiFi card and centrino powered laptops are not designed to operate in the distances of a marina. You need higher powered equipment. The BBX hardware has 200-375 Mw of power-up to 12.5 times power and range. BBX Xtreme Power cards have SmartScan utility to seek out signals and lock the WiFi signal providing vastly superior connection stability. We do not support third party hardware and usually it will work at close distances but may require you to get closer to our access point at the marina building. Our broadcast radios transmit at the highest power permitted by the FCC. Lack of signal is usually a result of customer equipment or exceeding distances of less powerful WiFi equipment. Go to our

Discounted Annual Plan: $299.00(USD) per annum (our best value held over by popular demand)Unlimited time usage. Automatically renews at the end of the twelfth month unless cancelled prior to renewal. Average cost per month during term is $24.91. Includes roaming to California in accordance with roaming agreement with idockusa.com. This is a non-refundable prepaid plan.
Multiple User Account with Onboard Router $395.00 (USD) per annum
$395.00 (USD) per year.Unlimited time usage during plan period. Automatically renewed each year unless cancelled with 30 days prior notice. Includes initial configuration of multiple computers and up to 100 minutes of limited telephone support of onboard computers of owner. Includes up to 3 onsite visits to BBX store for configuration for total of 100 minutes of support for boat computers. Includes roaming to california in accordance with roaming agreement with Idockusa.com.
Monthly Payment Plan 12 month term: $34.95(USD) per month:$34.95(USD)-Monthly payment subject to a 12 month term contract. Unlimited time usage during plan period. Auto renews at 12 month anniversary unless cancelled during the year. Access to all BroadbandXpress locations. Minimum term of 6 months before cancellation. Do not sign up for this plan unless you are going to use it for 6 months. May be cancelled after month 6 for a $99.99 one time payment.

30 days of service: $99.00(USD)
Provides all BroadbandXpress locations for 30 days from the first login. (as an example- sign up July 1 and your service lasts until July 30th). Unlimited time usage during plan period. Termination of sevice on anniversary of 30 days. Keep your username and password. Want another 30 days of service- simply login at a location and you will be prompted to accept another 30 days of service. No long term contracts- simply use the service at your convenience. Keep your username and password.
One week service $39.95 (USD)Use the service for (7) days from the first login at any of our locations. You have (7) days from when you login to use to service without incurring additional charges. No committment or long term contracts beyond (7) days. Login after (7) days will initiate another (7) days of service. Cost per (7) day period: $39.95 Keep your username and password.
(3) Day Plan $24.95 (USD)Use the service for 72 hoursfrom the first login at any of our locations. You have 72 hours from when you first login to use to service without incurring additional charges. No committment or long term contracts beyond (3) days. Login after (3) days will initiate another (3) days of service. Cost per (3) day period: $24.95 Keep your username and password.
Daily Plan- 24 hours usage- all locations: $10.95 (USD)
Use the service for 24 hours at any of our locations. You have 24 hours from when you first login to use to service without incurring additional charge. Login after 24 hours will initiate another 24 hours of service. Once you establish a daily account- you enter your username and password to authorize another day or service. Keep your username and password.

COMPARISON WITH VERIZON NATIONAL ACCESS(USA BOATERS):
Here is the most highly regarded data plan and how it compares to bbx:Verizon National Access Broadband offers a pcmcia card. Coverage in the major cities but 80 kbps elsewhere. If you laptop does not have a pcmcia slot- this service may not work for you.
Coverage Area: for the boater there are huge gaps in service- especially Canada and the San Juan Islands-consult other users as Verizon does not seem to know
Cost: $59.99 with a 24 month contract plus 6-36% tax($763.07-$979.03 per annum- hundreds of dollars a month if you go into Canada):

COMPARISON WITH TELUS IX SERVICE(mobile broadband ) Canadian Boaters:
Telus has an EVDO plan with speeds of 300-700 kbps but it is only available as of 05/06 in Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria. All other data will use 1x service at speeds of 40-60 kbps).

Cost: There is a monthly fee of $11.95 and then various monthly fees from $20-$100 per month depending upon
amount of data transferred:
$20 per month gets 1.5 meg transfer/$10 per additional meg, $30 per month gets 5 megs /$10.00 per additional meg,
